From the 1600s on, travellers to Persia mentioned that the glasshouses of Shiraz were manufacturing bottles to store and ship pickled fruits. I have been fortunate enough to add seven of these marvellous bottles to the collection. They are each expanded-mouth versions of other styles of Persian bottles – each unique and marvellous in its own way.
