DOUBLE GOURD TRANSPORT BOTTLE (PC-181) Region From: Possibly Shiraz, Persia. Estimated Date of Production: Late 1700s. Dimensions: 580 mm in height, 270 mm in diameter. Weight: 3879 grams Colour: Olive amber. Light content residue remains. Technique: Smooth base, freeblown, thick string rim. Sheared and unpolished (jagged) lip. Description: Full-sized double gourd bottle. Provenance: Purchased 2014, Czech bottle collection. Literature: I have not found definite provenance for this form as of this time.
